Illini Players Start Strong in Summer League Action

With many summer collegiate leagues nearing the end of the season's first half, a number of Fighting Illini are competing for division titles and leading their teams to hot starts. Shortstop Brandon Wikoff has lifted the Madison Mallards into a tie for the Northwoods League South Division lead with three games left in the NWL first half, while the Rochester Honkers, which feature four Fighting Illini players, are one-half of a game out of first in the NWL North Division.  FULL STORY
