Deron Williams to Participate in Summer Olympics

Former University of Illinois star and current Utah Jazz point guard Deron Williams has been named to the Men's Senior National Team that will represent the United States at the Olympic Summer Games. USA Basketball Managing Director and former Illini Jerry Colangelo announced Monday the 12-member team that will compete in Beijing, China, Aug. 8-24. With the selection, Williams becomes the first-ever Fighting Illini to participate with USA Basketball in the Olympics.  FULL STORY
